First cruise and International trip together - Day 4 Perfect Day at Cococay

 Perfect Day at Cococay.

Justin was so pumped to ride the tallest waterslide in N. America so we flew off the ship as soon as the gangway was down and went straight to the Thrill waterpark. The climb up was insane but also beautiful views of the entire private Royal Caribbean island of Cococay. Daredevils peak is 135 ft high and about a 20 sec ride down twisting around the whole tower. It was crazy fun, especially with my new found aqua ear plugs. I was able to have fun for the first time in a long time at a waterpark without the pain of water logged ears and headaches for 2 days after.

We hit some other water slides/rides and then went to find a lounge spot.  We settled on the Chill island and did some beach combing and then went back to the waterslides.

We spent the rest of the afternoon eating tacos and ice cream and enjoying the salt water. The sand is built up of so many shells and coral sponge. I saw two blue crabs and watched the Sergeant major fish. They looked like little bumble bees and have yellow scales at the top. I was able to get some cool videos under water of them and other fish while a guy was feeding them some bread. Justin went back early so I grabbed another pina colada and had a nap on the beach chairs and once the beach cleared out a little I did some more beach combing.

As you leave Cococay there are singers and dancers bidding you farewell. Was definitely sad to leave such a relaxing place.

(Cococay is kinda in the background)

We went to the main dining room for dinner the first one in there. The bizarre thing was, we sat right beside the same couple from Ohio from our first dinner on the ship and got to catch up and tell stories about the cruise.

We finished off the day with another show, this time Marquee: Broadway songs.
