Kumachan Onsen Shabu Restaurant - Tokyo, Japan

I saw this Shabu restaurant on one of the Japan bloggers Instagram and I knew we had to make a trip here. Total Kawaii cuteness overload. This shabu (think hot pot) restaurant does individual pots and the broth to start your meal is in the shape of a bear (kuma-chan) as if he was in an onsen (japanese hot springs). You order your set of veggies, meat and then flavour of your bear for your broth. They showed us how to turn on the elements built into the table but said to take as many photos before hand as kumachan would melt pretty fast. 

I felt like a little kid again it was so much fun playing with our food. The whole restaurant is set up to look like a little forest for the bears and they even had bear ear headbands if you wanted to wear them. For those sitting and eating by themselves they would bring out a giant kuma chan to sit with you. 😭

The attention to details was in incredible.
